The Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (PA AAP) was awarded funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to leverage the expertise of Pennsylvania's leading child abuse pediatricians to develop and host a Medical Forum to improve the state's response to child abuse, with a particular focus on physical abuse.

- Convene strategy sessions and learning collaboratives with key stakeholders to enhance networking, mentoring, and information sharing to inform the development of a statewide Child Abuse Medical Forum
- Convene a statewide Child Abuse Medical Forum
- Develop a strategic plan with recommendations to improve collaboration and communication between stakeholders to improve the provision of medical services to child abuse victims across the state
