About ECELS
The mission of ECELS is to improve the quality of early childhood education and school age child care programs. ECELS provides professional development and technical assistance to support health and safety in child care. This includes topics such as: infection control; preventing and reducing injury; supporting children with special health care needs and health promotion. We link quality improvement efforts of government, early childhood educators, health professionals, child care health consultants and other organizations.
