President's Message, July 2022
Mary Ann Rigas, MD, FAAP
Greetings from Potter County!
I would like to start by thanking all of you for the honor of serving as your Chapter President for the next two years. In addition, I would like to express my immense gratitude to Trude Haecker, our Immediate Past President, for her outstanding leadership over the past two years. I think we can all agree that Trude’s term encompassed the most challenging years in the history of the PA AAP, and she did a remarkable job of navigating us through the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic, all while keeping us focused on the health, safety, and wellbeing of Pennsylvania’s children.
